id="post_message_62184">Since I rotate my 5, on a weekly basis, they go through their ranges of power as a consequence of the rotation. The automatics are hand wound fully at the beginning of their week's usage, then allowed to maintain whatever power level they reach during the week's use. When they're put up for their layover, they obviously grind to a halt after their PR is exhausted.

The 3570.50 is fully hand wound each morning of its 7 day use period and exhuasts its PR after its latest tour is over.

The only exception to the rotation would be a trip where time zones would be crossed, in which case the GW GMT is the choice for the duration of the trip.

All that said, I have no idea whether it is necessary to allow mechanicals to exploit their full power range. __________________

Ah, thanks for the reply. I feel better. I don't think it was the light wear because I wore it a minimum of 10 hours per day. I also have a Speedmaster Automatic Day/Date that I have owned for about 4 years. With less wear, it held a charge far better and never stopped on me. But we'll see. Sounds like I will find out soon enough. I think it was just a fluke.

The backwards turning of the crown is 100% normal for the watch. It's caused by the mainspring pushing back on the winding gears. As Mike said, wind it till you can't turn the crown anymore. You'll know when you hit that point as demonstrated in my video that I made a long time ago on winding a Speedmaster Pro.

Trying to help drum up business at work to keep the company afloat (and keep my job in the process) has taken it's toll on the time I've had to log on here and post and reply to comments, but rest assured, I'm still here, and I'm still reading the forums as much as I can!

I'd been talking with friend and fellow WTF member bullandvodka about a DateJust I saw at a jewlery store in the not too distant past. It was a stainless model with black dial, and my eye was caught by the fact that the numerals on the date disk were red. I was thinking to myself "I thought that was a Turn-O-Graph thing". So I ask to see it and my friend behind the counter gets the watch out, and as per usual I look it over and toy around with it for a minute, open and close the clasp, wind it a few times, and then i popped the crown out another position and changed the date, and I nearly fell over. The next numeral was black! I flipped it again, and back to red! Alternating red and black numerals on the date disk! How cool is that! Tell me, friends, Is this something new?? Or have I just been living in a cave?? This was the first time I'd either see or heard of such a feature!

He posted top-10 finishes at each of the eight national tournaments in which he competed this year. Jordan Spieth also finished runners-up at the HP Boys Championship at Carlton Woods and the Junior PGA Championship.

Andrew Yun of Chandler, Arizona earned Rolex Junior All-America honors for the fifth consecutive year. This marks a record-setting achievement for Andrew Yun. He is a freshman at Stanford and has 19 American Junior Golf Association top-five finishes and four victories to his credit in his six-year junior career. With a first-team selection in 2006, 2008 and 2009 Andrew Yun is the only five-time Rolex Junior All-American in American Junior Golf Association history to join Justin Leonard.

The third returning member to the Rolex Junior All-America First Team is Patrick Cantlay of Los Alamitos, California. Returning to the first-team are James Back of Cerritos, California; Michael Hebert of Orlando, Florida; Jeffrey Kang of Fullerton, California; and Bobby Wyatt of Mobile, Alabama.
